How To Request an OCI Limit Increase
To provide the method to request a Service Limit increase for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services.
1. Log in to support.oracle.com
2. After choosing the OCI service, navigate to Account Issues > Limit increase
3. Provide the following details:
- Region
- Availability Domain
- Tenancy OCID
- Resource type, including any type-specific information:
- Compute - BM or VM shape
- DBaaS - BM or VM shape, or Disk Space (for VM's, in GB)
- Block Storage - Boot or Block volume specification, volume count, volume size (in GB)
- LBaaS - Bandwidth shape
- Current limit
- Desired limit
- Brief statement on objective behind the limit increase
